New GOTV webpage makes it easier for supporters to help get out the vote virtually
Today, businesswoman and U.S. Senate candidate Theresa Greenfield announced that next week, she’ll be kicking off her “Farm Kid Values” get-out-the-vote tour, featuring virtual events to hear from Iowans in every corner of the state.
The campaign also launched a new GOTV webpage, including a digital organizing toolkit, so that volunteers and supporters can help get out the vote virtually.
“I got in this fight a year ago for the hardworking families here in Iowa who have for too long been left behind and gotten the short end of the stick,” said Theresa Greenfield. “I’m excited to keep bringing our grassroots campaign to every corner of this state, to hear from Iowans about the challenges they’re facing, and to share what we’re doing to flip this U.S. Senate seat. Even more than that, I’m ready to take my grit, my resolve, and my farm kid values to the Senate, where I’ll stand up to corporate special interests and always work to put hardworking Iowans first.”
Theresa will be launching her Farm Kid Values tour on Wednesday, May 27 with a virtual event featuring Northern Iowa leaders. The tour will run through Iowa’s primary election on June 2.

Theresa has earned endorsements from two dozen local labor organizations representing more than 70,000 Iowa workers – including the early endorsement of the Iowa AFL-CIO – and from dozens of Iowa leaders, including U.S. Representatives Abby Finkenauer and Dave Loebsack, Senate Minority Leader Janet Petersen, former Lieutenant Governor Sally Pederson, and former Iowa First Lady Christie Vilsack.
Theresa has received more than 15,000 contributions from supporters in all 99 of Iowa’s counties. Recent public polling has shown her leading the Democratic primary field by more than 30 points, and just one point behind incumbent Senator Joni Ernst – the latest sign that Theresa is the only candidate with the grassroots strength and momentum to flip this seat.
In addition to postponing in-person events, the Greenfield for Iowa campaign is taking precautions by having all staff work remotely and encouraging social distancing practices at all times. The campaign also recently launched a new webpage to help Iowans vote by mail so that all Iowans can participate safely in the upcoming election.
